Who are we?
Dandelion Medicine Liberation (DML) is a cooperative that empowers Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities through ancestral wisdom, resource mobilization, and innovative community care. Our mission is to address workplace trauma and support social justice workers while enhancing their well-being and capacity to serve their communities.
Shifting from What?
BIPOC social justice workers often face workplace dissatisfaction, health issues, and toxic environments due to historical and systemic trauma. These experiences lead to high turnover and significant financial losses to organizations. We lose momentum to win our justice campaigns!
We have been working to disrupt the practice of Human Resources Consulting by combining Restorative Justice + HR + Intersectional Racial Equity + Wellness Support to help organizations revolutionize how they think about and practice Human Resources.
This approach is not working as well as it ought. We are radically reimagining our work!
What Now — What is Our Solution?
It has never been just about DEI; it has always been about Liberation. Now more than ever, we recognize how we can truly show up for ourselves and each other.
Over the past five years, we’ve transitioned into a cooperative structure, evolving from Sweet Livity, LLC to Dandelion Medicine Liberation (DML). We have dedicated much of our time until now to building the infrastructure necessary for long-term sustainability.
DML has developed a community care model that provides data-driven, restorative human resources training and wellness initiatives. We aim to support vulnerable workers through international and U.S.-based sanctuaries and retreats, apprenticeship programs, and community-based health care by scaling this model.

The success of our approach, for generations to come, is to create an ecosystem:
- Centering the needs of vulnerable BIPOC workers and their communities. Creating safe, inclusive, and healthy live-work spaces.
- Using Restorative HR for Innovative Staff Support rooted in Restorative Justice.
- Combining traditional and modern approaches to build intergenerational wealth and well-being.
Our wellness plan is for individuals, organizations, healers, and practitioners within our emergent membership network.
Stay tuned -- more to come April 2025!
